Recognizing the high proportion of older adults in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Moses Taylor Foundation seeks to ensure that as we all age, we have access to high-quality, age-friendly care, as well as other necessary health supports.
To accomplish this goal, the Foundation is interested in innovative programming that improves the access and quality of health care for older adults, particularly efforts to implement initiatives—such as Age-Friendly Health Systems—that seek to better tailor care to the unique needs of older adults.
In addition to a focus on direct health care, the Foundation also supports complementary services that address aging issues. Of particular interest is social connection, which can have a major impact on health outcomes and is a common challenge for older adults.
